I’ve known Wendy for close to a decade now and I consider her a VERY good friend. Since starting my transition back in 2010, I’ve known a handful of trans women that have really helped me along the way.
Wendy is most certainly one of them. In 2020 I finally made the decision to go ahead with having my GRS…the final step of what’s been an exciting but sometimes scary journey. Each step offers its own unique set of fears and worries. I reached out to a few post -op trans women that I’ve met over the years for information and advice. Some of what I received was valuable but much of it seemed clouded and vague.
When Wendy shared her surgery story with me, I was immediately impressed. I could tell that she was speaking from the heart and that she had my best interest in mind. When I made my decision on who would perform my life changing surgery, our friendship went to a new level. She not only offered support but was able to help me get my consultation appointment moved to a sooner date. Well, I had my surgery in March of 2021, and I couldn’t be happier.
Everything has gone really well, and life has never been better. I am so thankful for Wendy’s help. She is an amazing woman in many ways including her support of others.
