It’s Never Too Late to be yourself and live authentically and blossom as the woman you’ve known yourself to be. Transition is for you! And YOU alone! Not your family or anyone else. In fact your family transitions with you. And yes, they go through a mourning period because they’ve lost your male representative. But that was not the real you. Most family members do come around to accepting you eventually. Give yourself the space and time to get into your new life and let them go through their adjustments. Leave the door open to them. Eventually you will be able to build new relationships with family. Everyone I know who went through transition is a happier, very different person. It’s the most important thing you can do for you.
